Chez Moustache is a lover of all things “Dandy.” If you don’t know what we’re talking about, then you simply must attend the “Artist/Rebel/Dandy: Men of Fashion” exhibit at the RISD Museum.
We were thrilled to attend the exhibit and meet the most dashing men & women. We also set our eyes on Italian paint splattered shoes of Andy Warhol, incognito monogrammed dress shirt of Oscar Wilde and even some threads worn by Fred Astaire. There was quite a bit of history as well from the “inventor of the modern suite,” Beau Brummell.
Overall, a fantastic display of beautifully fashioned cuffs, collar and lapels throughout history is captured in this exhibit.
If you can’t make the event, we’ve got a copy of the Artist Rebel Dandy Men of Fashion picture book for you to thumb through the next time you visit Chez Moustache.
