We were delighted to find a sign maker that held the same quality standards and dedication to craft that we feel we have at Chez Moustache.
Let us introduce you to Bill Walsh. Bill is the proprietor of Uxbridge Carvers, and the gentleman who made the Chez Moustache carved wooden sign that hangs at 91 Hope Street.
The sign came out exquisite. Bill is truly an artist who has mastered his craft.
Here’s why we love Uxbridge Signs, and feel we have lots in common:
- We hope to exceed our customers’ expectations, just as Bill Walsh did with the delivery of our sign. It was thrilling to see it complete and well exceeded our expectations.
- We aim to use only fine quality products that are safe, enjoyable and healthy for our customers. Bill does the same with his products. He has tested many throughout his career and used South American Mahogany on our sign because it holds paint better and is nearly impervious to decay.
- Good barbers are also excellent with precision work. Whether it is a fade, taper or a flat top at Chez Moustache we practice precision haircutting. Uxbridge Carvers has to be precise as well. Bill consulted with us on our sign to make sure it was what we wanted. He used a combination of router tools and hand carving to bring our three dimensional image to life.
- At Chez Moustache we admire the finer things and want to bring them to our clients. We offer fine products and gifts such as porcelain shaving dishes, hand made shaving brushes, combs and unique colognes. Uxbridge Carvers appreciates finer details as well. The Chez Moustache sign is made with a beautiful black smalt (crushed black glass) background and gold leaf painted letters and moustache. Bill uses 34K German Gold Leaf for its richness and durability
Bill has been in the sign business for over 35 years, and his experience is evident in the quality of work he delivers. We would highly recommend him if you are in need of a quality sign. Thanks to Uxbridge Carvers and Bill Walsh for bringing our Chez Moustache sign to life!
